Dr Katherine Jones is the NIHR Network Support Fellow for the Cochrane Acute and Emergency Care Network. She joined the Network in November 2020 and also continues to support the Cochrane Mental Health and Neuroscience Network. In the Autumn of 2020, she completed the Oxford Leading Strategic Projects Programme with Oxford University. Prior to joining the Networks, she worked as a Systematic Reviewer for the National Guideline Centre, based at the Royal College of Physicians. After qualifying in Environmental Science and then Physiotherapy in 2008, Katherine worked as a Physiotherapist and completed a PhD on exercise in muscle disease. She continued her interest in translational research, providing practical support for an exercise-based randomised controlled trial and professional advisory support to others working in physiotherapy; she contributed to the production of systematic reviews and guidelines, which included work with Cochrane Neuromuscular as an Assistant Managing Editor and as an author.
